Platform
Deep Linking
Every stream in HotMic gets a shareable link that deep links directly into your app. When a viewer taps the link from social media, a creator's followers don't bounce to a generic web page — they're dropped straight onto the stream inside your iOS, Android, or web experience.
This turns creator social reach into measurable growth for the customer: signups, installs, sessions, and any other KPI tied to in-app activity.
How It Works
- Every stream card includes a share button that generates a deep link to the broadcast.
- Creators can share the link to Twitter, Facebook, or anywhere else they post.
- When followers tap the link, the system opens your app directly to the stream (or routes to the install flow if the app isn't installed yet).
- All shared traffic is attributed back to the originating creator and the originating stream.
Why It Matters
Most creator-led traffic on the open web leaves the creator's audience scattered across third-party platforms. Deep linking flips that model:
- Drive installs and signups — Social followers convert into in-app users instead of social-platform viewers.
- Grow first-party engagement — Every shared link funnels into your app, where you control the experience and own the relationship.
- Tie creator activity to KPIs — Customers can measure exactly how much downstream value each creator's social sharing produces.
- Keep the audience close to the content — Followers can chat, react, vote, shop, and engage with the rest of your app the moment they arrive.
Where to Share From
The share button is available on every stream card across the platform — the creator dashboard, the streams list, and the producer view — so creators and staff can promote a broadcast at any point in its lifecycle.
