Dashboard
The Dashboard is the home page for creators and admins. It provides an overview of all content and quick access to create new streams, recordings, and clips.
How Content Is Organized
The dashboard organizes content along two axes:
By State
Where the content is in its lifecycle:
- Scheduled — Created and ready to start at a future date.
- Live — Currently broadcasting or being recorded.
- Completed — A live stream that has ended and been converted to VOD, now viewable on the platform.
- Pending Review — An upload or recording waiting for an initial review.
- Needs Review — A recording or clip that has reviewer comments to address before it can move forward.
- Published — Finished and live to your audience.
- Rejected — Marked as not approved during review and will not be published.
By Content Type
What the piece of content is:
- Live Stream — An interactive broadcast running through the Creator Studio.
- VOD — A live stream that has ended, now viewable on-demand.
- Recording — A multi-host session captured for editing.
- Clip — A short video segment generated from a stream or recording.
- AI-Suggested Clip — A short segment auto-generated from a stream or recording by AI.
- Upload — A video uploaded directly to HotMic (not generated from a stream or recording).
Every dashboard section combines these axes — for example, "Scheduled Live Streams" or "Pending Review Recordings" — so creators can find content by state or by type depending on the task.
