Stream Manager
The Stream Manager is a hands-on production tool in the Producer Tools suite. It's where producers support creators during live broadcasts — building show content, pushing graphics, moderating the audience, and running interactive elements like polls and contests in real time.
Stream Manager is not available to creators — it's used by producers, programmers, and admins supporting creators behind the scenes.
What You Can Do in Stream Manager
- Produce shows live — Coordinate with creators during a broadcast to keep the show on track.
- Create show content — Build assets, segments, and prompts for creators to use during their streams.
- Deliver graphics in real time — Push lower thirds, banners, overlays, sponsor logos, and other visuals to the live stream as the show calls for them.
- Moderate streams — Step in to manage any active broadcast, adjust settings, or intervene if something goes wrong.
- Moderate chat — Delete messages, block disruptive users, pin highlighted comments, and back up the AI chat moderator.
- Create and manage polls — Launch polls mid-show, monitor results in real time, and pin or unpin them on screen.
- Run and moderate contests — Start contests, oversee entries, and adjust point values or rules during a broadcast.
- Manage scheduled and live streams — See every active and upcoming broadcast and step into any of them to support the host.
Who Uses It
- Producers are the primary users — running shows live, building content, delivering graphics, and supporting creators in the moment.
- Programmers assist with content scheduling, contest setup, and any operational coordination across shows.
- Admins use Stream Manager for oversight and to step in on escalations.
