Clip Manager

The Clip Manager is the central workspace where producers, programmers, and admins track every piece of content as it moves from the Creator Studio to your CMS. It gives the team a single view of what's in flight, what needs attention, and what's already live.

Clip Manager is not available to creators — it's a content-operations tool for the people overseeing the workflow, not the people producing the raw content.

What You Can Do in Clip Manager

  • See all content in one place — Recordings, uploads, and clips are listed side by side with their current state and content type clearly labeled. (Live streams are managed separately in Stream Manager and don't appear in Clip Manager.)
  • Track CMS handoff status — For every piece of content, see whether it's queued for, syncing to, or already published in your CMS — and surface any failures or retries.
  • Manage states — Move content forward (or back) through the workflow: send to review, mark as needing revisions, approve, reject, or publish.
  • Review notes and comments — Open any clip to see timestamped notes left by reviewers, respond inline, and resolve feedback before approval.
  • Approve, reject, or moderate — Programmers, producers, and admins can approve content for publishing, reject content that doesn't meet standards, or moderate content that needs adjustments before it's allowed to move forward.
  • Coordinate between creator and CMS — Clip Manager sits between the creator's output and your CMS's input, so every change, comment, or approval is logged in one place.

Who Uses It

  • Producers monitor in-flight content, leave notes for creators, and support creators getting clips ready for publishing.
  • Programmers manage the workflow itself — approving, rejecting, and pushing approved content into the CMS.
  • Admins oversee the operation as a whole, configure workflow rules, and step in on escalations.

Why It Matters

Without Clip Manager, content review and CMS handoff lives in scattered tools — emails, spreadsheets, chat threads. Clip Manager consolidates all of that into one workspace, so nothing slips through the cracks between creation and publishing.
