Branded Engagement
Branded Engagement turns HotMic's interactive features into sponsorship inventory. Customers can apply a sponsor's branding directly to the engagement modules that viewers interact with most — chat, polls, Q&A, contests, and more — so every interaction carries the sponsor's identity.
What Can Be Branded
- Chat — Apply a sponsor's branding to the chat panel, pinned messages, reactions, and chat overlays on the broadcast video.
- Polls — Brand the poll card, response options, on-screen overlay, and results display so each vote registers as a direct sponsor interaction.
- Q&A — Apply sponsor branding to the question queue, submission flow, and on-screen Q&A overlay.
- Contests & Leaderboards — Brand contest UI, leaderboards, and prize moments.
- Banners & Overlays — Tie sponsor branding to the banners and graphics pushed during a broadcast (see Banners and Sponsorships).
Each engagement module can be branded independently or coordinated across multiple modules within the same broadcast.
How It Works
- A sponsor brand is assigned to a stream, segment, or campaign at the organization level.
- The sponsor's logo, colors, and treatment are applied automatically to the engagement modules selected for branding.
- The branded experience runs live, visible to every viewer who interacts with chat, polls, Q&A, or any other branded module.
Sponsorship Value
- Measurable engagement — Every chat message, vote, question, or contest entry represents an active interaction with the sponsor's brand, not a passive impression.
- Audience data — Aggregate engagement results provide sponsors with insight into their audience's preferences, opinions, and participation.
- Repeatable inventory — Engagement modules can be branded recurringly across a season, campaign, or content series.
- Mix-and-match — Customers can combine branded engagement with Sponsorships (sustained brand presence), Banners (direct response), and Video Advertising for multiple sponsor touchpoints across a single broadcast.
