Polls & Contests

Polls let you ask questions and collect viewer responses in real time during a broadcast. You can also run contests with points and leaderboards by marking correct answers.

Creating a Poll

1. Open the Polls tab in the Creator Studio left panel.
2. Click Create Poll.
3. Enter your question and up to 4 answer options.
4. Optionally mark one option as the correct answer (this enables points and the leaderboard).
5. Choose to send the poll immediately or save it for later.

Sending and Managing Polls

Saved polls appear in the Polls tab. For each poll you can:

• Send / Pin — Push the poll to viewers. It appears as a card in the chat feed.
• Edit — Modify the question, options, or correct answer. You can set the correct answer after creation, which is useful for prediction-style questions where the outcome is not known in advance.
• Close — Stop accepting new responses. Results remain visible.
• Unpin — Remove the poll from the active display.
• Delete — Permanently remove the poll.

While a poll is active, you can see vote counts and percentages for each option updating in real time.

Running Contests with Points

If a poll has a correct answer, you can assign point values:

• Higher points for less likely correct answers (like betting odds).
• Lower points for more obvious answers.

Points accumulate on a leaderboard as viewers answer correctly across multiple polls in the same stream. This enables multi-question contests and trivia games.

Leaderboard

When you use polls with correct answers, a live leaderboard automatically tracks viewer scores:

• The leaderboard is visible in the Creator Studio (Score tab) and to viewers in the app.
• Rankings update in real time as poll results come in.
• The leaderboard can also be displayed as an overlay on the broadcast video.

All polls with correct answers within the same stream contribute to the same leaderboard, making it easy to run a full contest across multiple questions.

What Viewers See

1. The poll appears as an interactive card in the chat feed.
2. Viewers tap their chosen answer to vote.
3. After voting, results are displayed with progress bars showing vote percentages.
4. If the poll has a correct answer, a green checkmark indicates the right response.
5. Closed polls remain visible but no longer accept votes.

Tips

• Prepare polls before going live and send them at the right moment during your broadcast.
• Use prediction-style polls for live events — set the correct answer after the outcome is known.
• Points and leaderboards add a competitive element that increases viewer engagement.
